This is the spot to tell you a little about myself in hopes of you getting to know me. I am excited to become a member of this board and hope to learn about you and your 4-legged friends as well as learn some tricks of the trade myself.
My family and I, just within the last week adopted our first boxer. A little 4 month old female brindle, that we named Mizzy. She is an absolute darling and we couldn't be any happier than we are. We have owned dogs in the past and were looking for the perfect fit for our family. This is our first dog since the birth of our son, now nearly 5 years old. He is a gentle and loving little boy, but he is still a boy and has plenty of boy moments.
After some research and my personal experiance with a roommate and his adult female brindle (Jada) I knew a boxer was our dog. Well long story short my wife and I spent the last 6 months looking and looking and finally found our little girl Mizzy. She was rescued with her momma when she was 6 weeks. She spent her time with a wonderful foster family until we found her. She fits right in with the 3 of us and has quickly made our house a happy foursome.
I am looking forward to sharing stories and advice with all of you, especailly those who have lots of experiance with these wonderful dogs. I have spend lots of time with boxers, but this is my first time being in charge.
