Boxer Pal
We are Joe and Shelli, true friends of Boxers. We recently lost our first Boxer due to a deadly tick born parasite. He was a little over 9 years old. My wife wanted a boxer over all other breeds; I wanted a bird dog. Now, after our boy is gone and a wonderful nine years with him is over, I will never own another breed. He passed yesterday, and we both agreed on finding a new friend. We know that we will never be able to replace our Reggie, but our hearts are at a huge loss today and we need to move on. We know that our next Boxer will another great addition to our family and we are looking forward to our new puppy.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Reggie, it is so hard to have to say goodbye to them. I think you're right about getting another baby to love, I waited 15 years after my last boxer baby to get another...15 years too long. Good luck with your search and bless your broken hearts.

we know just how you feel....

hi, we are new to boxer world and just read your posting....we just went through kinda the same thing. We rescued a neglected 7 month old brindle boy just 3 weeks ago (on Halloween). We also had 2 other older dogs...Niki a 13 year old pom & Buster a 14 year old Rat Terrier mix. Almost a week to the day that we rescued Booie, Niki had to be put down. Scott was outa town due to a new job & I had to go through all this alone. We're so very sorry for your loss. But you are so right! Booie has helped us get through this! They will stay in our hearts & be very missed forever! Good luck in your search and healing your hearts. Leoma & Scott
