Hi everyone, my name is Ian Caine Wilson and I live in Sierra Madre, Ca (next to Pasadena) with my wife, Ashley and my two daughters Kaiya (7) and Malia (6). We will have a new white boxer named Captain join our family in two weeks. We've had two other boxers in the past, one that we raised from a pup but had to put down at age 5 and another that we fostered for about six months before finding him the perfect home.
All in all, we love boxers and we are incredibly excited about having the opportunity to raise another one. In addition to all the normal wonderful things we will gain by having a boxer, we are hoping that this new adventure will be good for Malia, in particular. She's been dealing with some health issues for the past year and she could really use some puppy lovin' diversion!
Professionally, Ashley is a photographer (mostly candid portraiture of children). I used to be a teacher and am now seeking employment putting my recently earned MBA in Sustainable Business to use. I am passionate about changing the way business is conducted so that it can maximize social benefit and limit environmental impact.
I've spent a little time here in the past few weeks checking out some of the posts on food, in particular, and it seems like a great community to be a part of. I'm looking forward to spending more time here as we grow as a family with our new boy.
