JavaJoeyMoac
Boxer Pal
Good moring, and happy (almost) New Year!!
I have been a lurker on this site for the last year and a half...give or take a few days. We used Boxerworld as a research tool before getting our baby boy - Java Joey Moac. If the name doesn't give you a clue...my wife and I are slightly addicted to coffee.
I have learned so much from so many different people on this board, that I figured now was just as good a time as any to join up and start sharing the wealth of info. I figured I'd post some photos and such of our boy...and quite possibly a new acquire we are looking to rescue from the local shelter.
A little about our family - My wife and I have three kids, ages 2, 4, and 7. Our baby boxer boy, Joey, is 1.5 years old, is flashy brindle, and 28 kinds of funny. He's wonderful with the kids, loves to goof around, and has been every bit of a success story with regards to what we hoped a boxer would be. He is well behaved (save for brand new people he meets - he gets a "wee" bit excited), smart, gentle with the kids, and drop dead gorgeous. He knows all of his basic commands...both spoken and in sign language.
Photos and stories will be forthcoming, I'm sure. As will some about the 2.5 year old girl we're looking to adopt, should things work out.
Take care, ya'll. Looking forward to being a full-on site member.
