Hello All I am the Proud New Owner of TWO Boxer Pups

Hello, I have finally made it here. I will be bringing home two boxer pups (1 male & 1 female) next week and I have a couple of questions.
I am thinking of going with the BARF diet. Is it ok to start the puppies off with this diet, they are 7 weeks old. Any suggestions on whats the best thing to feed them at this young age.
My other question is we have named our male boxer Payton and we can't come up with any unique female boxer names. Any suggestions?

Hi and welcome to BW!! Can't help you with the BARF, my dogs don't eat it. Love the name Payton! Cute :p Here's a few of my favorite girls names:
Madison, Mia, Macy, Hailee, Zara, Laila, Mariah, Angel, or Angelina

Welcome and congrats on your new pups! I love the name Payton and at the moment can't think of a cute girl name at all. It might help to do a seach (small grey button) for names as I know there have been threads on names before. Also, I don't feed BARF but you can try and search for that as well. I just really wanted to say hello and welcome to boxerworld.

How about "Place?" for a second name? :D I'll never forget a friend of mine named her two dogs "Pistol" and "Bullet." How funny is that?

Now you've got me curious about the BARF diet... Gonna have to go check that one out on the other board...

BTW, welcome! I'll be getting ONE boxer pup in April and her name will be "Tink" (as in Tinkerbelle). :cool:

Congratulations on your two new babies and much luck to you. I hope you have gotten alot of sleep lately because sleep is not in your near future. They are worth it though!!
