Heidi has passed

It has been quite awhile since I've posted on Boxerworld. I first started visiting the site when Heidi came to live with us in 2002. Heidi was 2 years old and a bundle of energy. Heidi brought us many years of happiness. She was such a sweet, gentle soul. Yesterday, 1/1/13 Heidi went to the bridge, she was 13 years old. She was at home with her family and was layed to rest by the grapevine in the back yard. We will always miss and love you, Heidi, our hearts are broken. Thank you BW for all your help through the years, while raising Heidi. Rest easy Heidi.

So sorry for your loss :( I lost one last March, and my first one 5 yrs ago. You were lucky to have had her for so long. Stay strong.

My heart goes out to you as you mourn for your departed Heidi! Know that the pain will ease over time, and take solace in all the happy years and nub waggles she shared with you and your family. There's nothing that will make it any easier, but know that the Bridge is chock full of happy Boxer souls who will take care of your Heidi until you are one day rejoined. Until then, you have many here who understand your pain!

My family knows you pain as well as we lost our Zeus yesterday as well. Hopefully they have made friends and are playing happily! Our broken hearts and tears will turn to fond memories and laughter with time.

I am so sorry that your Zeus has also passed. I hope they are running and playing together. We do have so many memories, it's so bittersweet.
