I am so sorry that you lost your baby. I know it must be devastating but don't blame yourself. You didn't know. We all make mistakes. That's what makes us human. You might want to post something under Boxer Ring so others will learn from your mistake and possibly save another life in the process. I feel terrible guilt because my Kianna bolted out the door when she was a pup and was hit by a car, broke two vertebrate. I thank God that she survived and is okay but sometimes she is skittish and fearful because of it and I feel responsible. We just have to be able to forgive ourselves and move on. God bless you.

The love and pain over her loss say so much. For 2 whole years this sweet girl had your love and led a very good life and I am sure she is watching over you now wanting to make your pain over her loss go away.

Godspeed Sugar.

I'm so sorry

So sorry for your loss of your baby. I too just lost my baby Stella. She was just 6 months old. She had learned how to escape from her crate and done it several times. I'm struggling with guilt. We had been securing her cage with additional clips. Sometimes she would still get out. Yesterday she got caught in the crate door and she choked to death. I can't help but think what could I have done better. I tried to protect her the best I could and we gave her so much love and attention. She was precious to us. So smart and curious and so loving. I feel heartbroken and helpless. I'll miss her kisses and snuggles and her wiggling but. I'm sure your Sugar knew how much she was loved and I am so sorry for your loss. It is so tough. I've been trying to remember all of our good times and laughs. I'm thankful to have everyone to talk to on the board. Please don't blame yourself. God bless.

My Stella is playing with your sugar right now.
