My girl is 14 mos and only weighs 45 lbs. She has maintained this weight for a few montsh now. She eats a regular amount. I saw her mother and she was pretty big but didnt see the dad. Does anyone else have a boxer this small? Im starting to think I got the runt of the bunch.

Molly takes after her grandma and is 2yrs & 45lbs. She may fill out a little more but I doubt she will get any taller. Her mom & dad were both quite large. Sometimes traits can skip generations.

Completely Boxer Crazy
Ginger is over a year old and weighs 42 pounds. We are sure she isn't going to get any bigger, she's a rescue so we weren't sure in October, but we're fairly sure now.

You can see her in my gallery. She may be small, but she has all the attitude and love she needs!

Our female Ali, weighs 50lbs & is 4 years old.
The standards that have a weight "guide" call for a fully grown female to be approximately between 55 & 65lbs so I think by the time your girl finishes filling out she won't be that far away from the "average".

I didn't care for your comment about getting the runt of the bunch. I got the runt, my 1st born son and he was a GREAT GUY.
Very Flashy, he grew slowly, but last year when he went to visit the bridge he weighed 82lb and was nearly as big as his siblings that I knew of. To top it off, HE WAS A GREAT SOUL.......
There's nothing wrong with a runt !!!!! unless of course, you live next door to the Jones....

Britnee weighs 43 LBS and she is 8 years old; Baylee weights 47 LBS and she is 7 years. I think it just depends on the dog, since Brit & Bay's moms were both rather large girls and their dad was 105LBS. But, believe me they can hold their own and are very muscular girls! I think if they were any bigger I would have to get another kind size bed! The two of them with me & hubby are bad enough! ;) :D

My daughter Sunny is 9 months old and 46lbs. Females tend to be 15lbs less than males. They can take up to two years to fill out. Heck, I'm 45 and still filling out. The boxer is a medium size dog with a lot of variation. I think our girl fits next to us on the couch better than bigger dogs I have had. She is easier to be with that my two human girls too, but all in all the girls are great.

A very happy Dad
