Boxer Insane
I had this same thing happen to my boxer Lily. But for Lily and my family turned for the worst. Lily died from a massavive seizure. How it came about Im not sure, but it started out with the head bobbing and drooling then just keep getting worst and worst by the time we got Lily to the vet she couldnt hold on any longer. Now Lily had just been to the vet to be spayed and when she came home she was on rimadyl and some kind of other med. Lily started acting weird two weeks after her spay and was still on rimadyl. I have no idea what caused it or how. I am letting you know my expience so you can maybe talk to your vet about having Joey screened. I hope this helps and I hope Joey will be ok.

Jayden I am so sorry about Lily :( My exsperience with Joey has really scared me so I can only imagin what you must have been going and still going through. I am so afraid when giving Joey any kind of meds. Shortly after Joey came into my life I learned about RYMIDAL and ACE, so I had his vet write in BIG RED LETTERS to NEVER use ACE or RYMIDAL on his file and now will add DERAMAXX. After searching through all of Joey's papers that I have saved from every vet visit and surgery's that he has had, I found that he had once before taken the DERAMAXX (after his neuter) and at that time I never noticed any of the side affects that he did this time. I give credit to the BW for making me so much more aware of what to look for and the reasons you should research everything you give your pets. I am a first time dog owner so I am still learning. I am so very thankful for having a community of people that are willing to share their stories and knowledge!
