Head bobs and shakes

Our boxer is 11 months and has seizure like moments. The vet is at a loss because only her head bobs- not the rest of her body. We have found no triggers and they are becoming more frequent, lasting several minutes. Her body temp is fine and her eyes seem fine when her head bobs. Has anyone ever experienced this type of condition?

i dont have experience here, but I have seen threads on BW with head shakes or head seizures. Do a search on those.

I have read many times of boxers who have this head bobbing thing, with no other problem ever identified. Sometimes when the dog has been treated for low thyroid, the head bobbing has (?coincidentally?) gone away. That's in dogs who had to be treated for the thyroid anyway.

Might be worth checking the thyroid, just in case.

I had posted a similiar question before too. See my posting. We asked the vet about it and she basically said to just keep an eye on it. I will be keeping a diary now of the incidents. I think were also going to be looking for another vet. She wasn't as helpful as I wanted her to be :(
