He won't stop scratching(kinda long)

Just interested how it went using the baking soda for Chance??

I haven't been able to try it yet, what I thought was baking soda was actually baking powder :( but I am going to the store today to pick some up.
On the plus side he hasn't been scratching that much just here and there so I am thinking maybe it was a reaction to the dawn? I will definitly let you know how it works out though

My vet told me one time that they have a pill that you can give your dog that kills any fleas on them and works for 24hrs. And give you time to put on the k9 stuff to keep them off.

Yes we have tried Capstar in the past and it does work well. I did call the vet to ask them if they could give me some to give him and will pick that up today just because I think I would rather have that around for a quick kill than the dawn as I think that may have been the problem :( I did put the K9 Advantix on him the other day and haven't seen a flea since, so hopefully my little guy will be alright. Still scratching from time to time and I hope that may be seasonal, very weird winter this year, it has yet to get "cold " and has been in the mid 80's most days so we shall see how he does over the next couple of days. Thanks again to everyone for all your thoughts and advice, we really do appreciate it.

I wouldn't try the baking powder,it would only make Chance rise nicely

What about resoulution? it is a flea, tick, and heart guard all in one? The is what the vet has recommended up here on my boys, it's under $20 a month for each boy and I have NEVER seen a flea on either one?
