We live in OKC and fortunately we own our home. I wish you luck in your search for a place that will accept Frankie. Where do you live now and where are you trying to move to? Is Frankie male or female? It's heartbreaking to know that a member of the family can't come with you to a new home. All I can say is keep looking, you are bound to find a place that will take him.

Please keep us updated.

Just a thought... What if you had a document written up saying you would be responsible for all damages caused by your dog on the property and have it notarized. Along with the doggie resume that someone else suggested (great idea).
Good luck in finding a place. I hope everything works out for you!!

Thanks for the suggestion of the doggie resume, thats a cute idea....
I am moving from the country, to town. I live in woodward oklahoma. i just refuse to get rid of my dog. Some of these houses are So gross, I wouldnt even consider LETTING my dog live in them. Oh well, I will keep looking, and hopefully something will come up.. I will keep you all updated if I do find something. My dog is stuck with me for life, where i go, he goes.

The resume is a great idea. One thing that I did last time we were working on moving was to ask my current property manager for a letter of reference. I asked him not only to comment on us as tenants but also to mention that we were responsible pet owners. We did give a pet deposit when we moved in of $250.00. He said that he would be glad to give a ltr of ref and after he did a walk through of the house he wrote our ltr. It was great when calling people to say that I had a ltr of reference and it stated we were responsible. People didn't shut down near as quickly and we found several houses to look at in a week. Just an idea. Couldn't hurt anything.
