So Dra 100, I need to write a short play/monologue. What do you think? I have till end of Novemeber, but I want to get started right away. I was thinking a common Child's Story with a twist.

i voted for the reindeer, Christmas is coming and worker's comp is always an interesting subject! One of my favorite kid's books is a twist on The Three Little Pigs where the pigs are the evil ones instead of the wolf.Funny. Post the story after you write it, I'd like to read it too!

Hmmm, how about Hansel and Gretel find their way out of the forest with the help of their new GPS device instead of leaving the bread crumbs behind and avoid the wicked witch (whose moving to a new retirement community anyhow and makes a bundle on selling her old fixer-upper gnarly house as a "lovely little getaway cottage")? Now how can poor Humpty sue for malpractice if he's not back together?

my vote was for the reindeer as well.. i miss writing and acting in plays =o( High school was sooo much FUN! I also really liked Scrapper's Mom's idea! that sure would be very funny lol.. i was also wondering how Humpty could sue if he's still in peices??

Nice Hansel and Gretel

The H & G is a great idea but I want it to be very short (ie easy and quick to read in class). With the Humpty Dumpty idea the actor would be on the witness stand with bandages on head, arm in sling, cast, etc. He survived the fall, after all he wasn't able to be put back together, not necessarily dead ;) I really do like that H & G idea though, so maybe I will try to think of a way to make it short.
