Harvey and I are new to Boxer World

My name is Josh and my family recently got an AKC registered 7 week old brindle boxer named Harvey. We got Harvey after re-homing a mixed breed that my wife and I rescued and fostered until she was healthy enough to go to a forever home. My wife has been around boxers quite a bit. Her mother bred, trained, and showed them starting at the age of 17 and later switched to Great Danes as a compromise with her husband who didn't think boxers were "big enough." My wife's best friend also has a German fawn male and an American fawn female that she used to breed and has had for almost ten years now. Harvey and I are currently living in Jacksonville, North Carolina. I completed my service in the Marine Corps a few weeks ago and we will be relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada to be with my wife's family in late September.

Harvey and I are hoping to learn a lot from all of you here at Boxer World. I'm sure we'll have some questions along the way, too.

Harvey is an excellent name! I was down to either Harvey or Dexter as a name and chose Dexter. Looks like our pups were born around the same time too, mine is 8 weeks old.
