Dixie says "Thanks Aunt Cindy!"
And thanks to everyone for the nice wishes.
She has had a nice day. Lots of spoiling....all her favorites snacks. The girl could eat her weight in snausages...

.
Unfortunately the Dairy Queen in our town is only open during the warmer months of the year...it only sells ice cream and you walk up to the window and place your order....still lost in the 50's...

.
She is wore out after her big day, she is lying on the floor next to my computer desk with her buddies, Brittany and Skylar. They are all snoozing for the moment....Oops...she must have known what I was typing because she just jumped up!
It is such a blessing to have her here. There was a time when we weren't really sure for awhile if she would ever see her 4th birthday...much less her 5th and now her 6th!!!
We took her for her annual Christmas light night, last saturday and she had a blast. She LOVES Christmas lights. Don was driving and Dixie and I were in the back seat. Dixie was sitting in my lap, transfixed on the light displays.
Needless to say...It wasn't easy for me to see much with Dixie in my lap. LOL
Honestly, sometimes I think she knows exactly what I am doing or writing in this case. She just came over and is now stretching across my lap, looking at the computer screen. Hmmmmm....you think maybe she can read? LOL
Time for me to go give her a few more birthday hugs!!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all...a Goodnight!!!!
