OK, I've been going to my hairdresser for about 2 years now. She has been coloring in light brown with a touch of red. Lately She's added in some tiny pieces of really lite brown to give it some dimension.

Thursday, I headed in and she started adding the colors. I went under the dryer and she noticed how the top was a little light. But never made another coment. When I got home and it completely dried I noticed the top of my hair was bright red, almost pinkish orangish. The bottom was dark dark brown. I called the next day and guess what She's on vacation for a week!

I spoke with someone else there and asked if anyone could fix it, she was able to get a hold of my hairdresser....whom called me and she said that she put the wrong volume in my hair and noticed how bright it was when I left but she never did anything about it. So I'm in the saloon for 3 hours Thursday and they still did not fix it so I go back yesteray for almost 6 hours and I thought it was somewhat fixed. Until today I noticed it is now purple!!!
By now, there is ALOT of chemicals in my hair!!!!!

I don't know what to do, this past few days I have spent $100. for hair that I didn't ask for. My original hairdresser, never apologized to me.....just admitted to me that she knew my hair was messed up and didn't bother to say something!!!

I want to call her and ask for my money back..would you??? I also want to call and tell them my hair is not what I wanted. I feel bad for the girl that tried to help me for almost 9 hours.

What would you do?????

I would ask that my money be refunded, and my hair fixed for free. That is the only decent thing for them to do. If they refused, I would certainly take my business elsewhere.

I had that happen once, I had orange hair. But, my hairdresser stayed until it was fixed. The only problem was that by the time we were done, my hair was fried! I would DEFINATELY say you want your money back! I wouldn't be going back to her either. I don't know how they tried to fix it, but I think I would go all one color to try and fix it for now. That's a hard lesson to learn. I don't ever leave until my hair is dried, so I know it is how I want it. Fortunately for me, it only happened one time, and I don't know if it was his mistake or if my hair just didn't take that color right. I ended up getting it cut short to get rid of the dried out hair. The nice thing about hair, it always grows back!

Been there! I looked like Ronald McDonald!!! That is how I started going to my favorite hairstylist(she's currently not working, she had twins!), she had to fix my nasty hair. I too would ask for a refund and not go back to the salon at all after that. No offense to any stylists out there, but I wouldn't trust the place if there was no apology from the owner or the offending stylist. Good luck with your hair and I hope that you find a great stylist.

I totally agree with the others,I'd ask for a full refund, then find yourself a new hairdresser, all those extra chemicals can't be good:(

My hairdresser once forgot to add a chemical and my perm didn't take. She fixed it for free. In your case, you are definitely owed a refund and a fix for free! Colors are tricky, but she is supposedly a professional. I once did a home dye job (tried Auburn) and my blonde hair turned bright pink! I sympathize with you.
