Hello!! I have been looking at the pictures on this site for quite sometime and finally figured out how to join it tonight! I am extremely excited about this! I love anything that has to do with Boxers. My fiance grew up with boxers, so when we purchased our house we just knew we had to get one! We bought our baby girl Roxy almost a year ago now. She just celebreated her 1st birthday on August 29, 2010. We had birthday hats and a birthday cake for her. She is my 1st boxer I have ever had, but she has turned me onto boxers. I have always been a cat person, but now after owning my 1st boxer, I know that I will always have a boxer in my life! I just love her personality and how loving she is!! I could not ask for a better dog!
When we were looking to get a boxer, my fiance wanted a fawn or brindle boxer, however the morning before we were going to pick out our puppy, the breeder sold the last brindle and only had 2 white ones remaining. We still went to check them out. One was pure white and one had a brindle ear. That is our Roxy. Her ear adds so much character to her looks! From that 1st night she had us wrapped around her paw! She was so playful when we were there and we left to "think about it" and called back within 10 minutes saying we wanted to come back and get her! She is our little spoiled girl and we love her so much! My fiance's parents have a fawn boxer who is 2 and they are best friends! I love seeing 2 boxers play together! Even when we take her to the dog park, it is like she is drawn to the other boxers and they all get along right away!!
