Hard to know

The simple answer, when you're talking about dry food, is that it's probably prudent to stick with moderate-protein foods up to about 26%-ish.
That's far less than you'd get on a natural (raw) diet, most homecooked, or canned food - all of which are up around the 45-60% mark on a dry matter basis. But when it comes to dry foods, there's conflicting information around as to whether or not it may contribute to (exacerbate or cause) skeletal disorders. My suspicion is that it's probably not a factor. But you shouldn't make food choices on my suspicions (LOL) but rather on facts. And the facts aren't clear in this instance (yet). Thus, the prudent thing to do is just stay moderate with dry foods and protein content until the skeletal growth phase is complete.
