Max destroys most toys the one that I have found that he loves is the Petstages Orka it is at petco. He has a small one that we received from them as a test and he loves it. They have a large one that I bought him for Xmas, also the air kongs and tennis balls do pretty good. Anything that is stuffed is a 5 minute toy. You might want to check out bed bath and beyond they have a couple interesting toys. Good luck and Happy Holidays.

Definately Kongs. We have 2 a black & red since Ginger was a pup & they still look brand new. Very sturdy rubber. I highly recommend:)

Nylabones, Kongs, and Tirebiters are the best in our house. There's a pic in my gallery of Mona and her tire. My dogs have a few stuffed toys that talk that they haven't completely destroyed (they have had to have a few stitches here and there but still pretty complete). Oh...and rope toys - they love to play tug!

The nobbly wobbly II lasted about 6 months with my parent's dog but he played with it everyday. The other toy I would recommend would have been the Tug -N - Toss ball. I was watching a lab and she loved it. Her's was actually a horse toy but they are both the same.

At Walmart they have balls that are made by Hertz?. They are perfect for boxers. Cost around $2. They are a hollow structure with wavy lines that hold the ball together. I like them because they are easy to throw. Soft in the months (they are kinda colaspable with squeezed) and my boxer has never been able to chew them up! When I go to the dog park everyone askd where to find them.

Petsmart and Petco have those plush Jacks- each end squeeks. Luka has a small one and has had it for awhile- we play tug and fetch with it, it's very durable. I bought my friends' Akita one last year and he had it for at least 6 months. He loved it and played pretty rough with it. Just bought one for my other friend's Yellow Lab- both of her dogs loved it too. They are really well made.

Thanks!!!

I appreciate everyone's suggestions. The kong is a good thing and Coco likes hers. I have looked for a Cuz the last two times I've been to Petsmart and cannot find them. I know they have them but I suppose it's possible that they're sold out from the holiday, who knows?! Next time if I don't see them, I'm going to ask about it. I'm sure she'll love that and if it lives more than a couple of days, we're in there...lol I wanna get a tug & toss too. BTW do any of you know much about the corn starch type bones, like gnarly brand or...I can't of the other I saw. Are they suppose to be edible? The only thing the package says is "should not be substituted for regular feeding and if you notice them breaking large pieces off, it should be discarded". I'm confused!
