Good bye Burt the cat

Last week I said goodbye to my pal Burt the cat. He was only 10 years old. I had to make the decision to have him put down. I got him when I was in college and he has moved with me everywhere I went. He was with me during some of my most difficult times and struggles in life.

I really miss him. My dog Lexie keeps going in the basement where he loved to hang out and looking for me. It's breaking my heart. I know it will get easier with time, I'm just sad is all.
