Goes crazy

I was wondering if anyone else experiences this problem. Whenever my husband or myself hugs the kids, Zeke goes crazy. He starts barking and growling, but in a playful way. He jumps up on us and starts to nibble. I don't know if he is jealous or if he is just trying to proctect them.

whenever my bf tries to hug me Cassius does the same thing...then otto starts barking...it becomes a LOVE fest.....................

My Coco does this too. She doesn't really like any of us to be holding, hugging, tickling or anything like that. She gets all rowdy too. I figure she's either jealous because she *must* be the center of attention all the time or the giggles & squeals make her feel like someone is potentially in harms way and she feels a need to intervene. She also doesn't like me to wake the kids up in the morning. When I go to their rooms I shake their leg or foot or rub their backs while saying their name to get them up. When I do that she will immediately get up on the bed and sit down between myself & the kiddo and put her mouth on my hands.

Yep. Sam does this too -I think he just doesn't want to get left out. Sometimes we will kneel when we hug, so he can be in between our hug sandwich. It helps calm him down.
