Boxer Pal
Hello,
My name is Derek Straw. I live in Billings, MT. I am the proud owner of Dodger, a 14-month old fawn Boxer. I'm sure you all feel the same, but boxers are the greatest pet I could ever imagine. I previously had little exposure to the breed, but noticed that they seemed to be wild and licked a lot. While this could be a little true, I have come to the realization that the boxers were owned by people who were not in the right capacity to own a boxer. While they do have a lot of energy, they are actually very bright (which I was not too sure of beforehand
). The amount of "personality" of the breed is mindboggling. I've referred to some dogs as having a lot of personality before, but this is something totally different. It truely is personality. Okay, I have to stop there for now.
Moving on, my Boxer's name is Dodger. He loves people, food, playing, car rides, games, sleeping, toys, and just about everything. Except maybe the cats. He doesn't seem to care for them. He has several allergies (chicken, fish, corn, pine, various grasses, etc) so a large part of his upbringing has been focused on finding proper foods, diet, surrounding, medications, and simply trying to find out why he was itching. It is under control now, and I am so happy.
I look forward/hope to visit with you all.
Sincerely,
Derek Straw
