Giving Our Children Baths!!!!!

My BF showers with Cassius and Otto when its time for their bath! This is about every 6-8weeks. We use Baby Shampoo. Cassius HATES shower time and shivers the whole way through--Otto on the other hand cannot wait to get in there with his daddy! BF sings to them the whole time(maybe this is why Cassisus shivers...)Cassius does love the rub a dub when the shower is over(my job!)and Otto always tries to eat the towel!

Yikes! Am I giving to many baths????

Ok, I am newish here, and I beginning to wonder if our precious little girl is getting too many baths. We are outside a LOT. We have a nice big backyard and are currently working on some projects back there, which means there is a lot of open "dirt". We are out there just about every day and she is out with us, digging nice little areas to lay her body in. Sometimes we put water in her little pool and she goes crazy running through the water and then into the dirt to make a nice muddy cake all over her legs and paws and anywhere else she chooses!
So, what I'm getting to is that when we come in, she does too and it's straight to the shower because she sleeps on either our bed or our sons bed. Besides we don't want any other parts of our home dirty.
Any solutions??? My vet has an Aloe and Oatmeal shampoo which he said it would be fine to use each day, but currently we are using Hartz puppy shampoo. Are we bathing her too much???

Tess HATES baths, so I only give her them when it's absolutely necessary - about once every couple of months. It takes 2 grown people to hold and wash her. It's not fun!

She's very good at cleaning herself, though, and the dry bath cloths help when she gets a a bit dirty at the park.

Tuck hates a bath too. He won't go anywhere near the bathroom if the water is running. And I still have scars from the last time I tried to bathe him (he tries to claw his way out of the tub). He's getting way too big to fight with. I have to get into the tub with him and shut the glass door so that he can't get away, but he still fights like crazy (and he's no where near full grown). I'm thinking we'll pay a groomer to do it next time.

We give our girl ,Lucy, a bath once a week, (she enjoys getting dirty also!!),
we use an Aloe shampoo, and head & shoulders cream rinse to keep her skin from drying out. So far ,(used it for about 2 months now), and it has been great, even helped with the shedding.
