Boxer Insane
Hi all I just wanted to let you know that my Rock was diagnosed by my vet with gingival hypertrophy but I felt it was epulis. She wanted to clean his teeth and do surgery to remove, I wasn't too keen on that. I did a search and found a thread that said the following: "My female has had a lump/bump on her, my holistic vet gave me a supplement called OncoPlex by Xymogen. Within two months the bump was gone. She also had a bump on her gum, diagnosed as epulis. I used a comparable product since OncoPlex is prescription only, but I found BroccoMax by Jarrow at Vitamin Shoppe. Both of these supplements have the beneficial ingredient that is found in cruciferous veggies that is known to be anticarcinogenic and promotes healthy cellular activity. But it did shrink these bumps on my girl, sparing her from an invasive surgical procedure."I found Brocogen at my health food store which has the same makeup as OncoPlex and it was readily available. I gave Rock 2 pills in the am and 2 in pm, within a couple weeks we could see it starting to get smaller. 2 1/2 months later it is gone :) No surgery, one happy boxer and one very happy Mom. Broccoli seed extract has been researched to be great at decreasing tumors, helping with cancer and many more things. So I just wanted to share this with everyone.

Completely Boxer Crazy
That is awesome! Wish I would've know about that when Leah had one on the gum line above her front tooth. The thing was it was ulcerated and had the Dr's confused. She had the epulis and a tooth removed :(

Good for Rock, glad he doesn't have his bump anymore appicon
