I'm pretty sure I posted an introduction a few months ago but for the life of me I can't find it. Anyway, hello again from Michigan!
We recently (6 days ago) adopted an 8 week old female that we named Ginger. So far she has been really great. We are going through what seems to be normal boxer puppy stuff. She hates going outside in the cold to to pee and poop but she has been pretty good about it. She loves playing with our 6 and 3 year old boys. They are learning new things too and that's great!
The only thing that Ginger has done that I'm not crazy about is I gave her a treat and then gave our 3 cats treats as well. She stopped eating her treat and went aggresively at the cats to keep them from their treat. My wife and I agreed that obedience training was a must long before we got the pup and I'm sure we will learn how to handle this when her classes start.
All in all this has been great! We all hope things stay positive and are looking forward to having many great years with out new addition.

Welcome to you! We just joined from Michigan also! That is so cool that you and your family have a new baby. When I was growing up, my boxer was always there for me. Whether it was sitting with me while I did my homework, or letting me lay with her when I was crying. What a huge part of my life that I would never want to change.

Hi Allan and Family, and Ginger, too! :) Welcome to Boxerworld!! There's tons of information in the Puppy Forums to help you through the various stages and issues of puppyhood - good luck. Ginger sounds like a typical feisty baby girl!!
