Talk about embarassing

Remi is in puppy kindergarden, and talk about embarassing!! You know all the other owners are thinking "What in the world, those people are so rude!!" I dont know of a lot of other breeds who are quite so gassy...I am sure everyone thinks it is me and my hubby!! :)

I sat down last week in class and the lady next to me had a Rat Terrier puppy...I simply began the conversation by saying "I apologize for Remi in advance, she is quite gassy!" That way she doesnt think it is me! Fortunately, the lady was super nice and had been a previous boxer owner until her boy passed at age 11...she explained that she had plenty of experience with stinky dogs!

Oskar isn't bad at all. I put a tbl. spoon of yogurt in his breakfast every morning. The active cultures and acidapholus(sp?) helps in the intestines. I've given him plain yogurt since he was 8 weeks and have never had a problem with gas. Now don't get me wrong he does toot but it's only a few times a day and they aren't smelly. :)

That is funny actually, I was told to try the yogurt thing and it seems the gas has even gotten WORSE... :-( If that's even possible!

I'm not sure about changing foods, I already switched him from Nutro Natural Choice to Nutro Natural Choice "Ultra," not sure if there's much difference? Are there any other foods to be recommended for smelly, gassy boxers? Anyone know about "Simethicone" based anti-gas products?

You know your dog has vicious gas when A) you can actually HEAR it and B) your husband or boyfriend is even offended by it.

That is SOOOOO TRUE!!! LOL!! When my DH has to leave the room, I know it's pretty bad. I tell him all the time I wanted a boxer so he'd know how I feel!!! Turn about as fair play, ya know?

What's funny - is when DH happens to exhibit this "behavior" (aka from Ronin) - he will then blame it on the DOG and try to get away with it

We have two GASSY guys!! Not counting hubby and skin boys.
There are times my hubby wakes up in the middle of the night gagging, since they sleep with us we can't get too far from the smell! My sense of smell is lacking; probably a good thing for the Boxers and my hubby. He spends alot of time blaming the furry guys or whoever else is near!! I'm sure they'd do the same to him!

I think it's hilarious that as of now, not ONE person has said their boxer has NO gas... so it may be a worldwide plague! Ha Ha!!!

Cinnamon is quite rude about hers lol she'll burp in your face and deliberately lie down so her head is at your face

Was gassy

My Brandy was gassy her first year or so. Finally, after month's of trying various food combinations, I think I have it solved. For the last month I have had her on a combination of Nutro Ultra, supplemented with Raw meats, fish, and vegetables. Since then, gas is very rare (usually when Mom sneaks her something different)

Yup Bella is sooo gassy! Yuck!

My baby is so damn gassy, and I heard one last night. I couldn't believe my ears! And my poor room smells like...Well I think you know. I got her spay a few days ago and that night wow! Out of the blue. I mean sometimes she passes gas but not like that. If I didn't love her so much I would put a cork in it!!! LOL
