Message for Sarah A. Sumner
Dear Sarah
Please forgive the 'out of the blue' approach (and off topic!). I've been trying to get in contact with you via the web and this seems to be the only way I might reach you.
Our names are Wendy and Bill Hester from the UK, and last year we sadly lost Wendy's Mum to Alzheimer's. Wendy found your beautiful poem on the web, and read it out at her Mum Dorothy's funeral. We were sorry to hear of your loss, and very touched by the words you wrote. Wendy and I are musicians, and to commemorate Dorothy we wrote a song - again borrowing some of the lovely words from your poem. We thought you might like to hear the song, and so we set about trying to find you via the internet. We found some posts on Boxerworld, and guessed that sasmeow was you (hopefully correctly!).
Please do let us know if you would like to hear the song - our email addresses are
bill.wendy@btinternet.com and
bill.hester@ddiworld.com. We'll email you the mp3. The other thing we were wondering about was whether, if you like the idea, we could together offer the song to the Alzheimer's society for any purpose that they might feel was right.
Anyway, please do get in touch if you receive this. We would love to get in touch (we're also great dog lovers, but one black labrador and one jack russell

. Also you can find our band website at
Live Function Band Bucks UK | Function Band Buckinghamshire | Surrey Function Band | Chemistry, so you can see who we are.
Warm regards, Bill & Wendy Hester
