Future boxer owner

Hello,

I'll start with the obvious I guess. I am new to the forums and am joining to get some more information on this breed of dogs. My wife and I are looking into purchasing one when I return from my deployment. My brother had a dog that was a boxer mix (had mostly boxer traits) and my wife's parents had a pure blooded boxer. We love their temperment and think they make great pets.

A little about me. I am 27 years old currently serving in the US Army. Besides dogs my wife and I are very active and enjoy hiking, camping, mountainbiking, and just about anything outdoors.

Well, thats about it for now. I hope to find loads of valuable information on this forums and look forward to owning a boxer in the near future.
