OMG that is so funny! I can relate - this is a girl thing!!
Many years ago (I must have been 11 or 12) my friend and I were playing hair salon in my bathroom. My mom had a regular plain old barrel iron and the dreaded iron with the teeth. When it was friends turn to be styled I asked her if she wanted the little house on the prairie ringlets (like I could do that at 11 - yeah right) or charlies angels flip. She of course wanted the charlies angels flip. Now mind you this girl had beautiful, pinstraight hair down to the middle of her back - all one length. Needless to say, I couldn't get the freakin teeth out of her hair and panicked! Never once thinking to call a grownup, I instead cut off a huge chunk of her hair.....Let's just say it took a long time before she was allowed to come to my house again......:o
