Completely Boxer Crazy
Baron got boots last week due to the cold and ice. He wasn't too keen on them for the first night, but when he figured he could stay out longer and his little tootsies didn't freeze, he stands and waits for us to put them on now.
The other dog is a collie and has lots more fur so she's out there playing and he stands at the back door like a toddler with the flu who can't go outside and play. Now he gets to go too and wears his coat and boots.
If you take your boxer out for any length of time in the cold, please check their feet for cracks or cuts from the ice and snow. I had one who cut her foot but didn't bleed because of the cold temps. Until she thawed out later that night and tracked blood all over the house.
