Frontline instructions state to part dog's hair and apply to skin. As we know boxer's have short hair, I am having a problem applying it on the skin. How do you guys/gals do it?

I second the question!!

I know this makes me a bad mom, but I don't put it on the kids because it just got EVERYWHERE when we put it on Abbi the first time. Advice, please!

I just part the fur and apply to the skin in small doses, starting behind the shoulders and working down the back. I always do it outside on a good day so they can run round the garden or go for a walk for a bit so it dries and they forget it's there to lick it off each other.

FYI:

It turns out that Frontline Plus is applied all in one spot, behind the neck, in between the shoulder blades. Very easy to apply.

Me too.

It was a lot easier to apply it to our old Collie who had longer hair, it parted easily.

I just roll their skin between my fingers and apply it between the hair that is sticking up. I put it in small areas down the back, if not, it runs especially down the tail.
