Frito Feet its true

I never realized, or even thought about it, until last week. I brought Jacob to have his nails clipped. Normally he goes to the "puppy spa" for a bath & nail trimming but he didn't need a bath this time so I brought him to a friend, who owns her own independant pet shop (mostly supplies & fish). She clipped his nails & she made a comment of him having "cracker toes". When I asked what that was she said that it was in reference to the smell between his toes. I have yet to smell them for myself, but I know I will. I'm too curious!!!

I've heard this before when Bailey was a little baby and her feet didn't smell. Now that she is 7 months old, she definately has the frito feet! None of my other dogs feet smell like this.

Guess I am going to have to borrow a friends boxer to see if his feet smell like fritos...I admit that I just went and smelled my girls feet and got nothing, not even a generic corn chip smell. LOL

I couldn't believe this thread when I saw it. My husband always told our Tazzy he had frito feet. This is just too funny but sad because it makes me miss my boy more than I already do.

I love this thread! Our boxer, Spenser (waiting at the bridge) had frito feet. We used to laugh and call him Frito Feet all the time. None of our other dogs ever had the frito smell. I'm going to run out in the morning and get some Frito chips and remember. I can't believe I had forgotten about this. Thank you!

Both Diesel and Indy's feet smell - I always thought they smelled like Doritos - maybe I'm just brand-loyal. I call them their Dori-toes...

I had read this on BW before, and now that Harry is here I have been inspecting every puppy bit of him. Yup, puppy Frito feet! I call him "Frito Feet-o".

Ok, this topic came around awhile back. Ruby's feet stink...like outside and our new little Lexi's feet do smell like frito's. Now the question, what is the smell? Sweat??

Funny story

I have a great "frito feet" story!! My Boomer was a christmas gift from my sister and I had no idea. It was about 11:30pm on christmas eve when I came home from my boyfriend's house and I walked into my parents house and said hello. My sister and parents were upstairs in the living room. As I took off my coat and shoes I asked, "Hey who is eating fritos?" This was way before I ever knew that Boomer had frito feet. I thought it was funny and I'd sahre that little tale

I just had to let yall know that while reading this thread, I got up went and woke Bella up to smell her feet and sure enough....they smell exactly like fritos!! I thought yall were crazy, but my gosh, it is true. The only bad thing is that it is 10:30 at night and now I am wanting fritos!! :p
