Fraud Alert!

I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a scam going around where an "investigator" will call you from this number 614-754-6732 and say that they are with "Midwest Litigation Consultants" and you owe them money. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO!! My boyfriend just got this call while we were over visiting his parents and asked him to verify the FIRST 6 digits in his SS# and the lady read it off to him and he was in aww bc it was correct. She called the house 16 times in a row cussing bc he would not give her any info! We decided to GOOGLE the phone number and found A TON of recent stuff online about the scam! We are very shocked!

I would suggest everyone GOOGLE that number and just read up on it so it dosen't happen to you!! My boyfriend already has an identity theft protection program with his bank so he is getting in touch with them just in case anything shows up.

Thanks for the heads-up! It's amazing how much info some of these people have and how realistic they can sound. Unfortunately, it's also easy to respond before you think about what you are doing. So, once again, thanks for the early warning.
