Hi all,
My boyfriend found a female boxer in NW Georgia late last fall (03). He was camping while on a river trip in the middle of nowhere and she showed up at his tent in the middle of the night. She was extremely thin and scrawny and obviously been either poorly cared for or stray for some time. She was intact (we had her spayed after a few months) and obviously had a litter of puppies. She is not microchipped and the vet thinks she's around 2 years old. She is not microchipped. We had contacted local shelters with our info but have had no luck. She is a sweet, sweet dog and appeared largely untrained, (although she could have been living on her own for quite sometime). Unfortunately, I didn't even think of checking on a purebred board until now and am wondering if there are other places to look. We love Bear (appropriately named as my boyfriend thought she was a bear when she was sniffing his tent in the dark
) and really do not want to give her up. However, we know that someone else may be missing her too!!!
