Foamy nose!

I know that you all, as fellow boxer owners, have little names for the things that you dogs do.

We have a thing we call "foamy nose". This is when they get outside and get to sniffing something so much that little spots of foam form on the sides of their noses!

This happens if we go somewhere with lots of new smells, like PetsMart or the park or whatever. Their noses are on the ground going going going going....and when they look up...FOAMY NOSE!

We also have a little something called "Poopy Butt Trauma" or "PBT". That's when they go to do their "business" and they have a 'hangers on' they can't get rid of. They have to scoot their butt on the ground to rid themselves of the 'hangers on'....that's called Poopy Butt Trauma!

Ah yes, I am familiar with foamy nose, from all those exciting smells!

Of course I panicked the first time I saw the foam. I thought something was terribly wrong with my baby. I thought he had gotten into something like lawn fertilizer or some other hazardous chemical. I'm such a drama queen. I had to laugh with the dangling poop problem. I'm very glad it doesn't happen very often. It seems to happen when the park is full of people.

LOL about the "kling-ons" there was a whole thread about kling-ons and poop demons a while back. Do a search on them, it was a hoot to read!!

Rowdy sometimes drools so that his spit touches the ground. He has "slobber pussitis".

We always referred to PBT as "dingle berries". If the boys don't tell me what they want for breakfeast, I threaten to let Rowdy make some "eye booger stew".

Tenaia gets foamy mouth! She looks like a crazed rabid freak sneezing and doing the wiggle-butt bean thing She gets foamy nose too, but it looks more like she is trying to grow salt crystals.........too funny

You might want to take your dogs to the vet and get them checked for heart worms. I think that scooting is a sign. If it turns out not to be then that is pretty funny.:D

I am also quite familiar with the foamy nose. Ive never noticed Summer scoot on the ground when she gets dingle berries. LOL but it would be so funny!!!!

So Glad to everyone at boxerworld!! If it hadn't been for all the "boxer trait posts" I would think my poor 14 week old fawn "Lola" had every doggie problem in the world. The SALT CRYSTALS were here most recent!!! LOL
