That one of the main reason other than my hubby has always wanted one since his Twiggy past away many years ago. We are moving to the country and want a protective,loyal companion for my 7 year old when she's outside playing and another set of ears fro me since my hearing is all that great.

i also just saw this thread - i am glad everything turned out okay for you & you and your family are all okay. i am bad about not locking my doors here at the house when i am home, at least since we moved to this small town and live out in the country. We are originally from Memphis where you kept everything locked at all times but since we have moved here i've become a little careless - thanks for sharing your story though - my doors are locked now!

We did the composite and I thought it came out amazing. I got upset all over again just looking at it because it was so close. They have release it and the sketch the other girl made to the news stations. They are strikingly similar. We all believe it is the same sicko. The Brinks guy comes tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that. Hubby has been unusally close to home these last few days. If it weren't for Fletcher I don't know how it would have turned out. My hubby stopped at the deli yesterday on the way home yesterday and got him this HUGE bone. Not sure what he said it was, but Fletcher LOVES it. He certainly earned it

OMGosh.....I'm so glad you are okay!!!! That just made my skin crawl!!!! You are sure lucky Fletcher kicked it into high gear. I'm glad nobody was hurt.

You are truly blessed with a terrific dog! I learned that lesson also the hard way with our Duchess. We had a man try to walk into our house(we also live in the country). Fortunately my husband was home but Duchess went nuts which she never does to anyone! Come to find out he was a drug dealer that had a broke down car. I was shaky too!!! Hang in there! Hopefully everything works out and he is caught!

Wow this story is amazing I can't even begin to think how you felt, thank goodness you both are fine....I hope they find this sicko soon. And Fletcher good boy, you have probably no idea what you did, but thank goodness your mommy has you for her baby.
