(moving this thread to the Boxer Standard forum)
Deciding whether a dog is Flashy or not is a little difficult as it's open to individual interpretation.
In your case Colleen, from the pics from your gallery, IMO I would say that Shelby is Brindle rather than Flashy Brindle, you could possibly say Semi-Flashy.

but i think they are considered to be "flashy" if they are at least 1/3 white
This is not the case, if a dog has more than 1/3 white it is considered not to fit the standard.
A flashy boxer will generally have a combination of alot of white in the areas of the mask, neck, chest & socks (not just white feet) but not exceeding 1/3 of the body.
I'm sorry to use a picture of my dogs as an example but here goes. :p
Click here to see a picture of Eric & Ali
Eric is considered "Flashy" as he has alot of white in his mask, neck, chest etc. & notice his white socks.
Whereas we consider Ali to be "Plain" Brindle even though she has a white chest, feet & the smallest piece of white on top of her nose. (BTW .......she is anything but "plain" to us :p )
I hope this clears it up a little.
Either way Shelby is a fine looking boxer. :D
