First Day of School!

It's the first day of school for me and my Boxerboy! Titus is 9 months now, and when I got him last month I signed up for a Beginners Obedience class...haha I'm more worried about training me than training him! He's already learned Walk vs Run, Sit, Shake, Lay Down, Leave it, Off, and DownStay. Now we just gotta work on the listening when there's distractions :P like new people, a toy, a butterfly, or some dog's aromatic anal glands. He's so smart I know he can learn it...I'm just worried that I won't be as good a student! Also we got our pasture irrigated today, which means he needs a bath 5 minutes before class as he is an unholy mess. Class is tonight at 7:30 EST...wish me luck!! If something noteworthy happens, I'll let y'all know

Good luck!!! And I think you are right, humans need more training than the pups. They are creatures of habit. We on the other hand, want to analize every movement, have high expectations and take it personally if the dog misbehaves. LOL

HA! I laugh at myself. We had a bath, a walk so he could A) dry off, B) not get muddy again, C) burn energy. When we get to class....It's been rescheduled. Mildly irritating, but that's ok! We went to the dog park instead. Thanks everyone for the well-wishes, we will try again next Tuesday!
