Annie's Daddy

Boxer Pal
Hi all, it's been a long time since I have posted. We lost both our Boxers in the last two years. My Annie to what appeared to be Brain Tumors at the age of 9, and the great white Beano died suddenly at the age of 7 about 4 months ago. I plan on trying to get some pups next spring and even though Annie was the smartest, most beautiful Boxer I have ever had, she was from a BYB and died just too early. I think I may shell out the extra cash to buy from a Real breeder!

Beano I rescued from the local animal shelter, and I may consider that again, but I wan't my kids to have the puppy experience.

Any tips on finding a goor breeder in Northern California?

Thanks,

Dan

So sorry for the loss of your babies-it is always so heartbreaking. I would start with AKC breed referral knowing they do not guaruntee the health testing protocol of any breeder. You need to do that. On this site you will find the recommended testing that should be done. Another way to go is Rescue-there are so many who need good homes. Of course it is hard to get a medical history so I certainly understand if you do not want to take that chance with what you have already been through. Good luck in your search :)
