Finding a breeder?

I tried the link on this site that takes you to Insiderpages.com. I registered, but my search yielded no results for "boxer breeder" or just "boxer" or "breeder". I don't get it.

Does anyone know of any good breeders in Southern California or how to find one?

Doing a search for a Boxer Club in your area would be the best place to start. They can usually refer you to a reputable breeder.

Here you can browse many many previous threads about how to find a responsible breeder, what health tests should have been performed on the parents of any puppy you consider buying, and what questions you should ask any potential breeders you find.

Dog Shows

The links given you will give you a very good start. Attending dog shows is another great way to look. Go to www.infodog.com and click on Show Information. You can look on the show calendar for upcoming dog shows. That way you can network with local breeders to see what they have coming up and if any can help you. Boxers usually show at 8am so get to the shows early.

Hiya Jiffer!

As mentioned already, shows are a fantastic place to see boxers and meet their owners/breeders. INFACT, there is a show this coming weekend @ Santa Fe Dam. There will be 30 something boxers showing (ours included though i will only be attending on sunday) Its a bit far, from Rancho (i think i read you were from there), but its worth the drive. good luck!
