Colly, God bless you, girl! Your boyfriend's friend sounds very ignorant, and totally not up to having a dog. Hopefully someone can set him straight, and he can get educated real fast. Meanwhile, that puppy needs to go to a much better home. You probably just saved his/her life. Thank you for what you did.

Not only should he be reported to the ASPCA he should also be reported to the police!!! :mad: :mad: It's pretty clear that this guy has already smoked enough pot in his day to not realize that it's harmful to animals as well! :mad:

I agree with all of this as well...this guy obviously has had one joint too many & needs to be dealt with....

BTW KUDOS TO YOU!!!!!! you have been very brave & shown you have a good clear conscious for doing what you did...B/F will just have to get over it...cause you have very likely saved a puppy! YAY!!!

My plans

Just to follow up on what I am going to do about all this, I am going to be keeping in contact with the officer in charge of the investigation to see what is going on, so far they are still investigating and we are supposed to talk during the week. Just want to let everyone know the progress.

BTW the BF is relaxing a bit but is trying to make me feel guilty because it is his friend. IT ISNT WORKING. I am sticking to my guns on this one, because rarely in life we are certain 100% that we are right, but this I am sure of.

Good for you! If the marijuana or chocolate ingestion doesn't hurt this poor dog, just think of all of the other possibilities. Being a dog owner is a huge responsibility that this idiot is definitely not prepared for.
