whats yhour boxers favorite toy? bought them a kong and they dont like it. Joe is partial to a money with a squeaker and rope arms adn legs and cookie love one of my old t shirts that i tied in knots.

Riley's new favorite toy seems to be an empty 2-liter soda bottle....of course the absolutely free toy!!! She chases it around the house and tries to wrestle with it. It's loud but funny! My parents' shih tzu's favorite toys include: an empty 2-liter bottle, empty gallon of milk container, and any stray boxes laying around the house...there's no accounting for taste!!

Jade's favorite toy is her stuffed cat (since the real cat don't like her) and stuffed puppy. She really likes soft stuffed toys. I bought these from Target cuz they don't have sqeakers (they're kids stuffed animals), if I gave her a toy with a squeaker, she'd sqeak it all day and night driving me crazy, she loves that sound.

Roxy prefers any type of ball, but especially one that squeaks. She also like soft stuffed animals like a hedgehog that has a shape similar to a ball....then again, she also likes the rope...

Grunt's favorite toy WAS the monkey with squeaker and rope arms and legs, until I was buying him one every week, because he was chewing the rope apart, and I was afraid he would chew pieces off and choke. He now has a bunch of those little monkeys with no arms or legs, which we play toss with and he runs around squeaking, squeaking, squeaking!! He only likes his kongs for eating goodies out of. Now, he loves 1) his Wiggly Giggly ball which he gets only in the evening after I get home from work because his daddy can't stand all the giggly noises going CONSTANTLY all day long! 2) an old T-shirt with a bunch of knots tied, like your Cookie. He loves to chew on the knots, and untie them.

Toffee's all-time favorite toy is a little squeaky soccer ball. She just LOVES it! She squeaks and squeaks and squeaks it, and she loves to jackhammer it around the house. She also really likes her big soccer ball for outside play--the one that has the ropes on it so she can carry it.

Wiggly Giggly ball, rope or rubber tug-o-war toy, tennis balls, anything that squeeks, his bad cuz, flashlights, laser pointers, and remote control cars.

The rope tug-o-war toy only comes out when they are supervised because they can shred it and swallow the string...this could (and has in the past from some other posts) cause some serious blockage problems.

Rocky and Lucy change their minds about which toy is best every few days. They get bored with one and won't play with it again unless I hide it for awhile and bring it back in a few weeks or let them "find" it somewhere. The like stuff that makes alot of noise and stuff that can be destroyed. Stuffed animals are fun until all legs, tails, ears,etc are removed and every inch of stuffing decorates the living room floor.

I would avoid giving them old t shirts tied in knots as I have been told this teaches them it is okay to play with your stuff (the shirts still have your scent) and you won't be happy when they get ahold of something you still want to wear.

Xena will only play with balls...and if they squeek, even better! Spirit plays with ALL toys! He is the type that has to have something in his mouth at all times and walks around here challenging any and all willing to play!! The "flavor of the month" is his Bad Cuz....he LOVES it! I have had to take it away on a few occassions. My home was sounding alot like a "duck-hunting" event gone horribly wrong! :rolleyes:

Ping loves anything that squeaks so he can kill squeak, LOL. He loves things he can fling up in the air and catch, squeaky balls and binkie's and of course tug ropes.
