I have to agree with Ram&LexisMom's quote. It puts a tear in my eye every time I read it. I have it attached to one of Ginger's photo albums.:)

This is one of my favourites too!!!!!!!! I had it up in my room back home in Calcutta, with a few of Morrisons poems and Bob Dylans lyrics!!!!!

But isn't this written by Robert Hunter ( A Box Of Rain) for The Grateful Dead???

You're right the words are by Robert Hunter, music by Jerry Garcia, but it is definately Scarlet Begonias.

Have you heard about "The Other Ones" (the remaining members) getting together and playing- I think in Chicago? Origianlly it was going to be in somewhere in Wisconsin, but the town said they could not handle that many people decending on them at once!

No I didnot know. I always wanted to see the Dead with Garcia---but he died before I had the chance. Thats why the first thing I did after coming here to this country was go and see Bob Dylan at a concert. Next year the Rolling Stones are coming--------

"The poisons borne upon your tongue will never serve to slight me, for I have dealt with many fools and suffer your kind lightly. Just as you sow, so shall you reap, and I, my friend, have plenty, so sit ye' down and eat your words now that your plate is empty.
Oh why do the mighty view the world through sycophantic eyes, then claim to us they know whats best from pedestals of pride? Dont take the views of others and dismiss them out of hand, for when your pillars crumble, tell me, who will you command?"

"When living your life like an arrow in flight you must always accept that the end is in sight. Be grateful, at least, for the fact that you knew, you came to death, he did not come for you.
You are like targets who sit and await, and patiently suffer the arrows of fate, saying, 'I am but mortal and destined to die, I can change nothing so why should I try?'
Each morning you wake is an embers day dawning, your penance for living in permanant mourning. By erst' whilst' ideals, your heart is enslaved you crawl out of the cradle straight into the grave.
What reward is a banquet of red wine and bread, when you hunger for life but on death you are fed?"

"one day the wind will come up, and you'll come up empty again, and who'll be laughing then, you'll come up empty again...
Its always funny until someone gets hurt and then its just hilarious"

Due to the current economic state, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice.

LOL - I love that one, just saw it the other day.

"This too shall pass"

That quote is short, sweet, and definately true! And a friend gave me this quote that she found in an art store...

"No man is worth crying over, and the one who is won't make you cry"

I think this is a good one to remember when you are having those gosh darned relationship problems:rolleyes:
