You know, there could be several different catagories: hunks, past greats, good actors, but for me there are some I really like in the roles that pop into mind:

1. Mel Gibson..I've never seen anything of his I don't like
2. Sean Connery..the ultimate Bond, and my fave for the role in Hunt for Red October
3. Tim Curry: you've got to admire a man that will be seen in fishnet hose, bustier and makeup, and then go on to do serious roles al la Hunt for Red October.
4. Denzel Washington: does some really good stuff.
5. Ice T I really like him in Law and Order... he's come a long way from the rapper image

Do I have to stop? I like Tommy Lee Jones too, very versitle, Gene Hackman makes an excellent evil man. Kevin Costner...I drooled over The Bodyguard for quite some time.

It's hard to name just 5 and it's harder to think of the best and not just the hottest So I thought, 'if I flip on the tv and saw this actor, would I change the channel or *have* to see what movie?" So this is what I'm sticking with.
