Then there is also a new cmmercial about a shampoo, Tresemme, the lady is holding up a boxer puppy that's no more than 2-3 weeks old  It's a little flashy fawn pup.. too cute :D

If I'm not mistaken Jesse James only has Pit Bulls. But there was a Biker build off on The Discovery Channel that featured Indian Larry and Billy Lane. Indian Larry has a beautiful Flashy Fawn boy in he brings to the shop with him.

Also, has anyone ever noticed that the Boxer in Good Boy is a girl? Wilson's real name is Lita.

PUNCH and JUDY, two Boxers that were both awarded the Dickin Medal in November 1946, 'these dogs saved the lives of two British Officers in Israel by attacking an armed terrorist who was stealing upon them unawares and thus warning them of the danger; Punch sustained bullet wounds and Judy received a graze down her back'.

The dog in Marmaduke was obvoisly a great dane but the writer based the dog on his mother, or mother in laws boxer. He wanted the dog to really stand out so he switched it to a great dane...too bad I think the boxer would have been fabulous! The writer thought his mother's dog was always doing stuff worth writing about so he made the comic strip...we all know boxers have plenty of antics worth writing about. :) I saw a show on Discovery, or a similar channel about this.

There are also lots of war dogs that were boxers. I saw a show on animal planet about war dogs and shepards & boxers seemed to be the most prevalent.

One of my favorite commercials is from A1 steak sauce. There was one not too long ago with a fawn boxer in it.

The man was sitting at the table eating a steak with A1 and the boxer (who by the way was georgeous) was eating dinner right next to him was finishing up his bowl, when all you heard was the constant hard licking you hear when they are finishing up, but it wasn't the boxer...it was the man licking up the last droppings of A1. :D And the boxer just looks up at him like "weirdo". smashicon

You're right, Indian Larry has a boxer in his shop, I remember that show because his wife came with a chihuahua I think and that little dog was stirring up a ruckus and wanting to pick a fight with the boxer, of course he never touched the little devil and had to leave because she was making too much noise!!smashicon

I've often wondered if the cartoon dog "Droopy" is a white boxer. His ears are kinda long for a boxer, but then what kind of dog is he? Is there any bully dog with long ears?

I know the movie Good Boy has already been brought up. But for those of you who haven't seen it, you have to. That boxer is the funniest! Everytime he spoke I thought, that is exactly what my Rex would say. His comments revolve around boxers (at least mine) 2 favorite things: food and play.

Don't forget Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall!

Yup, Bogie loved his boxers! He had several! Then there are the boxers that have appeared in print ads, like the two checked boxers in the Stein-Mart flier a couple of weeks ago. There is the one that appears once in a while in the Kmart ads for Joe Boxer and one that has appeared in Target ads.

There was a made for TV movie starring Pheobe Cates as a blind woman. Her seeing eye dog was a boxer ( I think his name in the movie was Chang)
