My heart breaks to read posts like this. I am so sorry that you and your young boy have to go through such a traumatic experience. Do not blame yourself for Rambo's illness. There is nothing you could do. You've done nothing but good for this pup by giving him a loving home. Blame the "breeder" for this sad situation. Best wishes.

Ive calmed down and been laying down next to him for 2hrs.
I guess nothing could have prevented this, but its life. It could be any day of this week, or next week. Who knows, but I hope to be with him til his last breath. To make matters worst, he sighs and whines in a low tone.

I never heard the famous woo-woo.:(

I am so very sorry Rambo is sick. He is so young to have somthing so awful. Are they 100% sure that's it's lymphoma? How did they diaganose it? Did they give you any options for treating him? Your story makes me so sad, it's just not fair!!!

It just saddens me how I could be so STUPID and accepted his puppy.

The way I feel is they were sent to us / you for a reason. God knows that we will take care of them no matter what and give them are all. He wants to make sure they experiance the love that we have and do things other owners probably would not. I have dealt with some pretty sick "kids" before and I know how hard it is. I too lost one of my "kids" to lymphoma but she was much older when she was diagnosed. I was lucky enough to be able to spend another 1 1/2 years with her because of the chemo.

Please know I will be saying some x-tra prayers for sweet little Rambo and he will remain in my thoughts. Give your baby a huge ((((HUG)))) from me!!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about poor little Rambo. You must be crushed. But it wasn't your fault. You have given him love for the time you have him and I know he appreciates that.
You're in my thoughts.
Best wishes,

Perhaps you were meant to get him and care for him - to make what little time he has left as loving as possible?

We just lost our dog, which was my fault, and I understand the guilt. At least you care for him and are giving a peaceful place for his last days. That is something, about which you should feel good.

I agree wholeheartedly with what everyone else has said. Rather than feeling "stupid" and "guilty", feel proud that you gave a great stay on Earth to a pup that needed a loving parent. Our prayers are with you and your sweet Rambo.

Oh I am so sorry for Rambo. But please don't blame your self, things happen for a reason, and the good thing about this is that Rambo is so loved from you, so he had a wonderful family eventhough is for a very short time. But at least he may be leaving knowing that he was so loved.

You and Rambo will be in my prayers.

I am so sorry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Rambo.
Please don't blame yourself. You gave him love and a wonderful home
for the short life he has had so far. Without you, he would have never
known the love you have given him.

I thank you guys for the support here at BW. But Rambo passed away on Janurary, 26, 7:03pm.

"HE WILL BE MISSED"

It will feel empty without a boxer in the house.

I will not let this experience stop me for my pursuit of a healthy boxer. Rambo taught me so much about the boxer, and am looking forward to Rambo the II. I say it better to fill the heart with another friend than to let it sit empty with sorrow. I just hope I find that special friend soon. Again, I thank all of you for
the support.

May god bless you all!:)
