Experience with Vetmedin

Hi all. Have not been on in awhile. I searched through the threads here looking for feedback on Vetmedin. Most of what I see is overwhelmingly positive. My nine and a half yearl old girl , Nysa, has moved to Dialated CM from a long history of ARVC and went into CHF a week ago. Docs put her on Lasix and that has stopped the coughing and most of the panting though she has little energy. They recommended Vetmedin and we started Tuesday. So my questions are: How long before you all saw improvement, Did your pups stop eating and did that subside, and were they on enalapril as well? Any advice or feedback is so much appreciated.

Hey there ELubas, sorry I don't have any experience with Vetmedin at all but I'm curious how you ended up finding out she went into CHF? Was she on anything prior? Our girl has been on Sotal0l for over a year now but started coughing this week so we're taking her in and I'm just trying to arm myself with some info first.

Hopefully Nysa is doing ok still? My thoughts are with you as you go through this. Hugs....
