ever fallen asleep at work?

I work as a receptionist at the front desk of a community center and im always the only employee here at nights. Its sooooo dead in here right now, the only people are here is a groupd of men who've rented out the gym to play ball hockey, Its all quiet except for their shoes squeaking down the hall and the sticks connecting with their ball. Im sitting here with my feet up on the desk, the radio on, falling asleep. It wouldnt be too bad if i had full use of the net, but most sites are blocked out, INCLUDING games. Theres not even solitair on here.

Usually when im here totally by myself I turn the radio up real loud and dance around the halls. Not to mention its really cold in here too

Ok, I am getting two visuals in my head, one of you snoring at the desk with your feet up and the other of you dancing in the hall, don't know which is funnier.. Sorry you are so bored... Too bad you can't bring Cinnamon with you to keep you company.

I used to bring Cin here with me but when she has to go to the bathroom, I cant take her out because Im the only one here, so I had to stop.

On the upside I went searching around for other jobs and found that the mall near my house is getting a build a bear in May, Im done school in April, so I applied online for job to make some extra cash during the summer.

Hey, if you get a job at Build a Bear, you could take Cinnamon with you and she could help you sell the stuffed boxers! OR would she try to eat them? Killian tried to play with ours when we brought it home. He thought it was a toy for him.

She'd probably try to eat it I could see her trying to get into the machine that puts the stuffing in the bears Im sure by the end of one shift with her there id owe well over 500$ for eaten and drooled on teddy bears

I work as a teaching assistant at an Infant school in a class of 4 ~ 5 year olds and by the afternoon I'm shattered. I'm nice and full because of lunch and warm because the heaters are on full pelt. If the teacher is reading a story and I'm just supervising I sit there and I feel my heart rate slowing down, my eyes feel heavy etc and my breathing is so relaxed. I could sooo easily fall asleep and have to get up and get some water to wake myself up, Lol. One day the teacher actually looked over at me and said Mrs Mayes, are you ok? and snapped me back into reality. Roflmao

I once almost fell asleep during a meeting. My eyes were closing and I think I was probably leaning. My boss snapped his fingers and said "Jessica, wake up!" . I was like "I'm paying attention, i'm not sleeping!"

At my old job I used to take little naps all the time. LOL I was an office manager/receptionist. I was always there by myself for the majority of the day. I did have full use of the internet and a TV to watch which was supposed to be on the stock channel, but I would always change it when my boss left. Anyway you can only stare at the tv and computer and play the same games over and over again until you can't take it anymore. So I would lay my head down on the desk next to the phone so if it rang I would wake up instantly.

The job I am currently in makes me very tired in the afternoon so there are times when my head starts bobbing. Unfortunately the director of the company and my manager have to constantly walk past my desk so no naps allowed!!!!

I am at work right now & I work in the evening, I usually don't leave until 4 or 5am. ( I work 10-12 hrs ) Last night while I was supposed to be entering the diagnosis codes on the computer I must have fallen asleep only to wake up because I was snoring! It was a good thing because just as I had raised my head 1 of my co-workers came around & asked what was that noise?! I said, what noise?.... LOL! I wish I could bring my boy here with me but since I work at a hospital I don't think they would like that.

I'm at work and almost asleep. I am a finance manager at a car dealership & my office is at the back. I've got my heater turned up & I'm sitting her searching the net trying to find out whats wrong with Odin. My eyes are half shut. I would love to put my head down & catch a few zzzs. Oh, what I would give for a pillow & blankie
