I need some advise. I have a 7 month old puppy who loves the tast of my lanolium floor. I started when we left him with a sitter at our house for 4 days while we went on a trip. Gilmore would stay in the kitchen durring the day and then in his cage at night. But while we were away he tore about a 3 feet span of my kitchen floor. So we fixed that space with some tile and left it that he was upset with us for leaving him. Well then we left him out in the kitchen as we always do when we go to work and when we came home he found a new spot to dig up! So we fixed that and again he found another spot. Well we finaly have fixed all the spots and put down molding around the whole kitchen so that he could not find another spot to start on... or so we thougth. Gilmore is a very spoiled puppy, he is our child. He sleeps at the end of our bed and last night he got up and we must not have heard him becuase when we finaly noticed he was not there and we went down stairs he had ripped another spot of the lanolium and also had an accident onthe floor. He is now 7 months old had not had an accident inside for a very very long time. People have told me to put him outside durring the day and in his cage at night but we live in upstate NY and we have very long and very cold winters so I have a hard time bringing myself to leaving him out side. He has so many chew toys I cant count them all. We also play with him everynight for about 45 mins and he gets long of excersise so its not that he has to much energy. I have had about 15 boxer dogs in my life and I have never seen a dog do this. Does anyone have any advise???? Thank you
