Dressing our boxers

[Samson Boo]

I love to put clothes on Samson. He looks so cute and he's really good about letting us put things on him. He's usually pretty good about leaving things on too. He has a coat he wears when it's cold and he also dressed up for Halloween. He was Superman. It was adorable! I think most of the kids were more interested in him in his costume than in the candy I was handing out! :D

I have coats for both of my boys mainly because I know they get cold. But I do put bandanas on them for holidays, they have xmas and halloween themed ones. I also have a t-shirt for Tyson that says "Santa's Little Helper" that I got at Old Navy. It's fun to dress them up. Sometimes I wish I had a girl just so I could put a pink tutu on her :p

Louie hates wearing clothes, but one time I got sick of looking at his junk, so I cut a hole in a pair of little boy's tighty whiteys for his tail to go thru, and put them on him. I wrote LOUIE on the elastic waistband with magic marker too... he and his best friend Rudy were both wearing underwear with their names written on them so we knew who's were who's. FUNNY.

I think boxers look adorable when all dressed up. Perhaps it's because when I look at Rocky's face I think of that picture with dogs playing poker and the boxer is all dressed up. I can't help it!

I've dressed up Harley & Zoe too. Niether one is too fond of it though...there's pics in my gallery of Zoe during her 1st week home in a pink "Princess" shirt giving me a "go to he$$" look, they both were dressed up for Halloween in 2002, they each have Harley Davidson sweatshirts, & I have a leapord print bandana for Zoe. I still need to upload those pics...

ha ha ha! This thread is so funny. We don't dress Brando up. There's not really much to buy for dogs (clothes wise) in any of the pet shops here.....although I did go to London for the weekend just before Xmas and we popped into Harrods.

You should see the stuff they have for dogs there. Those of you who love dressing their boxers up would be in heaven!

They even have nail-varnish for dogs? - Somehow I can't imagine Brando with a french manicure!! ha ha ha!
